Crawford stevener, Campus minister

Crawford Stevener is a native Texan who went to Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN where he met his wonderful wife Rachel. Upon graduation, they were married and moved to Dallas where Crawford worked as an analyst for a consulting firm in the banking industry. In 2010, Crawford and Rachel moved to Charlotte, NC where they attended Reformed Theological Seminary. Crawford received his Masters of Divinity and Rachel her Masters of Arts in Theological Studies. In 2013, Crawford became the RUF Campus Minister at Duke University in Durham, NC. After five years of ministering at Duke, the Steveners re-located to the San Francisco Bay Area to minister at Stanford! They have four spirited little girls - Ruthie, Lottie, Glory, and Eve. Pretty much everyone in the Stevener family loves people, food, good conversations, and silliness. You can contact Crawford by calling or texting 214.604.8645 or emailing him at

kathleen chitty, campus staff

Kathleen grew up in the heart of Orlando, Florida. She got plugged into RUF at the University of Florida (Go Gators!) during the first week of her freshman year, and her life was forever different! It was through RUF that she began to experience the transformative grace of the gospel in new ways--grace she's excited to share with Stanford students. After graduating with her Bachelor's in English in 2014, Kathleen moved to Rock Hill, SC, just south of Charlotte, NC, to work on staff with a church youth ministry. She loved her time with middle school and high school girls the last 5 years, but is thrilled for this new chapter with RUF at Stanford!

Kathleen loves everything about warm weather, and can't wait to be back in a sunnier state. Her current favorite hobbies include reselling thrifting finds and enjoying the library audiobook app. She loves coffee, a good podcast, card and board games, all things cooking and baking, and taking her dog, Ruth, for scenic walks. She watches enough hockey to worry her friends and family and enjoys hiking once she's actually on the trail. More than anything, Caroline's excited to love and learn from the students at Stanford for the next few years. You can reach Caroline at 314.637.1759 or
